My travel experiences in Portugal…

My first taste of Portugal came in the sun-drenched Algarve, where I explored coastal towns like Albufeira and Vilamoura.

The Algarve region’s laid-back charm left a lasting impression on me. Although I’ve only begun to explore this beautiful country, Portugal is high on my list for a deeper dive. Over the next few years, I’ll be revisiting Lisbon’s blue-tiled alleyways, sipping port in the wine cellars of Porto, and soaking in the beauty of the Douro Valley.

Very high on my travel bucket list is the spring flower festival in Madeira — the lush, volcanic landscapes of the Azores are calling me!

  • Transportation Tip – Renting a car is one of the best ways to explore Portugal – especially if you want the freedom to discover it’s hidden beaches, hilltop towns, and off-the-beaten-path gems. I recommend Discover Cars – they compare major rental companies and local providers so you get the best rates and flexible options.
