Spain has a special place in my heart. My love affair began as a teenager, and since then, I’ve returned more than a dozen times.
Here are some of the places I’ve explored:
- Costa Brava, Catalonia – charming coastal towns like Blanes, Calella de Palafrugell, and Tamariu, plus the fascinating Dalí Museum in Figueres (near Girona).
- Spain’s must-see cities – Madrid, Barcelona, and Seville (my favorite), each with their own unique cultural highlights.
- Andalucía region – the stunning Alhambra Palace in Granada (add this to your bucket list), picturesque “pueblos blancos”, and the beach town of Nerja.
- Cuenca, Castilla-La Mancha – famous for its UNESCO-listed hanging houses.
- Balearic Islands – including Mallorca.
- Canary Islands – including Tenerife.
